Yes! A lot of research is based on gender binary. We should be mindful that many studies (esp. population level) likely include data where there were restricted options for people to identify their or others’ gender… therefore gender may have been assumed or incorrectly recorded

I would hope that this is not a controversial thing to say, but I feel like, as a research community, we need to rethink reporting gender as "female(n/%)”... 🧵 1/4

I know I'm definitely not the only one that cares about this! (And about making research more inclusive and reflective in general.) If you know of any good examples of how this is being done already, please feel free to share below, I'd love to see them! ☺️4/4.

A brilliant meta & regression analysis from 📝 on the effects of treatment on repetitive negative thinking in YP with depression & anxiety. Could digital tech be advantageous here? Very likely.

Friendly reminder that you can bring in one of them cheeky elf’s in the lead up to Xmas & have them just be there to be a prankster. They don’t have to be a cop monitoring your kids to report to santa. You can choose to do the fun stuff without bringing in that dynamic 🎅🏽 ☺️
