Walgreen’s employee: “Items are stolen faster than we can restock them...so we don’t.”
SF is collapsing on itself and no politicians/police are fighting the problem.

More on what we've been advocating for in this memorandum from May of this year - including safe sleeping sites, hotels, re-purposing public space for essential family needs & yes, cracking down on drug dealing activity that preys on SF's most vulnerable https://sfbos.org/sites/default/files/Memo_on_Lower_Polk_Response_to_Homelessness.pdf …
How do you plan to crack down on the drug dealing?
Sone SFers aren't going to like it, as it entails asking for help from Gov Newsom & from feds, since local DA won't do squat & will take time to recall him. But need to research sanctuary city law & to understand limits of cooperation permissible. Working on prop 47 this week.
1/2. I've been to countless town halls/community meetings: all talk, no action. tents/criminal activity surround nav. centers, after promising residents otherwise. safe sleeping sites/hotels you’ve put homeless people in are dangerous & disgusting, inside & out. you know this.
2/2 So you want my voice in support of your myriad of “solutions”? No. But if you, @AaronPeskin, the @sfbos, @LondonBreed & @chesaboudin purge the drug dealers & help SF become safe, clean, & vibrant, you'll have it - plus a glowing story. if you don't get it done, others will.
