Love this but people should only need 1 reason to support him: punishing him puts our right to freedom of speech in jeopardy. Period. Even if you think Assange is the worst person on the planet, we CANNOT let this happen because of what it means for our freedom.

I have too many for a single tweet, but basically, it's because he "picks & chooses" for himself what he thinks you deserve to know, performs NO fact-checking or original reporting, and wields his power as a weapon to push his personal agenda.
