That's not the law. Lyrics and melody have their own copyright. Single lines usually don't, but Jack sang 4-5 lines with signature vocalisations. Courts have ruled in the past that this isn't fair use. This isn't abuse, it's the law, unfortunately.
yeah, never said it was the law. yes, he sang a few lines from the song. But it is also different than the song. IE the OOGA OOGA CHAGGA, wasn't still going while he sang the few verses, no actual music was playing, and he was slightly out of pitch. which youtube admitted to. 1/2
