McKinley has played with the injury at a very high level for the past 2 years, and was unaware he had the tear until recently.

McKinley is still very much undecided at this time as to whether he will have surgery or not,but if he did it would be after the NFL Combine
-
He plans on participating at the Combine, but felt it would be better not to risk the injury at the Senior Bowl.
-
It should be noted that plenty of Edge defenders have played through an injury like this, including Noah Spence and Vic Beasley.
-
Obviously McKinley's med checks will be huge, but the injury isn't expected to impact his draft stock much (if at all) at this time.

Nice scoop man

Thanks Ian, wish it was happier news

echoes of Dion Jordan, no? Flashed enough to still seem worth (dumb) risks. Boy, love to have that one back
-
no. Takk is much more built
-
I see that and know people can play through labrums but they really should take time to fix (like Reshad Jones this year)
-
Everyone's situation is different too, we'll see what happens
-
I agree. He's an exciting player. Lot of depth in this year's draft.
-
-
-
You think this is why he has issues with pad level?
-
-
-
tell him to get it fixed now, skip the Combine, and fall in the draft to a Super Biwl contender
-
James is finessing his way into the agency business I see
-
he might do some things in Indy that drop jaws
-
that's what I'm worried about
-
-
-
I literally just finished watching a bunch of his games last night and was so excited. This is awful news.
-
I wouldn't be too worried. He'll participate and crush the combine. And torn labrums are decently common.
-
true. Very excited to see him at the combine. The athleticism jumps right out on tape.
