Born on this date: Gordon Jackson (December 19, 1923 – January 15, 1990)
#DYK Jackson left school when he was 15 and became a draughtsman for Rolls-Royce. He was chosen for THE FOREMAN WENT TO FRANCE (1942) when producers needed a young Scotsman, leading to more film roles.
