Yesterday my mom asked, "What happened to Friend D?" And I replied, "Nothing. But I've seen him a couple of times with a new girl."
Cause I've been there. Telling a guy I liked him, listening to him say "let's just be friends," feeling the hurt and definitely crying about it, but then CHOOSING TO BE A GOOD FRIEND IN SPITE OF THE REJECTION.

Segue to another question my mom asked, "What about Friend C and Friend M? I mean, it isn't even about dating, just being friends. Don't they want nice Christian friends?" *Note: Me, my fam, and most of my friends are Conservative Baptist.

Honestly. I can't think of any guy (regardless of religion) who stayed as a friend after I said I wasn't interested in dating him. And that is just plain sad.
