IDK, associating RMS with Weinstein because of bad jokes he made might be a bit too much. It's like Godwin's rule of Hitler analogies, only with famous rapist instead of famous mass murderer.

I think your analogy is quite apt, actually. Like Weinstein, Stallman’s actions caused many promising women’s careers to be cut short. Like Weinstein, he operated this way for decades with virtual impunity. And like Weinstein, it finally caught up with him.
