Welp. I tweeted this because I had Chadwick Boseman on my mind and then left my computer for a few hours. I ... did not expect this response.

I do not know what a SoundCloud is, but since this tweet is — as they say — doing numbers, this amazing woman and pastor could use your help:https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-whitney-heal-at-home?utm_campaign=m_pd+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer …

Rich Mullins, and Robin Williams. And Carrie Fisher.

Carrie Fisher was a gut-punch. Worse because I found out about it just as I walked out of a showing of Rogue One, where I'd seen her digital Young Princess Leia for a brief scene.https://youtu.be/6Yj31YCa3Xw

Prince. And although I'd not seen much of his work, Chadwick Boseman--the extraordinary circumstances of him hiding his illness + talent + so many good things he was doing or funding.

I kind of felt like David Bowie and Prince were immortal, & their deaths didn't feel real as a result. The strangeness & wrongness of being without them was unexpected. Joe Strummer's early death was one that hit me in the sense of "there goes a big part of my youth."pic.twitter.com/oeryoOlZAD

Anton Yelchin probably hit me the hardest. Such a tragic story and such a talented actor. My kids recently discovered Trollhunters and opened that wound right up again.

I remember the exact moment I found out about his passing. That was a hard time in my life!
