The idea that mother's should sacrifice their lives is just ridiculous and incredibly outdated.

Thanks Layla for raising this. We are still considering what to do on 8/3, it's a difficult decision.

Thank you for raising this
@LaylaMoran There are thousands of us praying that they announce that no punitive measures will be used against those of us who feel unable to send our children back to school yet. We are facing that battle again now sad@SafeEdForAll_UK@Parents_Utd -
@GavinWilliamson didn’t respond though in regards to not sanctioning families who do keep their kids home. This continues to be very concerning to me and many others. Please help us

Thank you for this. Unfortunately, for families such as this it’s not possible to minimise risk to a safe level so the only answer is no fines & continued online learning. If parents (CEV or not) could make this choice we would also have lower numbers in schools.

Thank you Layla. Don’t blame the school. Blame instead national narrative of undervaluing some lives and woolly conflicting policies.
#MakeSchoolsSafer until then we need clarity for schools and all parents. No fines/penalities. Blended learning.@SafeEdForAll_UK#edutwitter -
I definitely do not blame the school, I blame Government policy. The signal has been students go back at any cost and that has been detrimental to vulnerable families and schools.
