Long Covid is often heart-breaking, and it is affecting more and more people. Today the @AppgCoronavirus is calling for three things: better reporting, urgent money for research and recognition by employers and in the welfare system.pic.twitter.com/AarSCSy6XU

I can not thank you enough. We are organising special zoom support groups for those #LongCovid sufferers affected by today’s debate. Our voices, stories and suffering finally brought into the light. #CovidSloths

It's excellent this is being highlighted and recognised at a high level. But please don't forget us with #mecfs, who despite having huge overlap of symptoms with #longcovid are being forgetten/ignored... Again! We can be helped (and can help with years of research) too 🙂

See this please to get the seriousness of the matter at hand. Dr Mark Gordon has a good idea of what Long Covid is and compares it to brain injury caused by explosions. This is brain inflammation and damage. Don’t work through it. Strokes, fits...etc.https://open.spotify.com/episode/63rrJQVK26FuyaMDnY7a3z …

Thank you so much for bringing this debate to the Commons. We're so grateful for those who are campaigning for us. I've been very lucky with the support I've received but we need reporting, research and recognition urgently across the UK as you highlight so clearly. #LongCovid

The symptoms of long Covid are very similar to those of sarcoidosis. Many with sarcoid have crushing fatigue, are unable to work, and face enormous problems getting help such as PIP. I’m happy to engage with you on email about this or you can follow @SarcoidosisUK for info.
