Without the NWS servers my predicted high temperature today on my was 95 degrees. Uh, not close. Love the device but this is the second time in a month there's a problem with this.
When the NWS data isn't available, the station will show the actual daily HI/LO temps registered from your connected TH sensor, not projected values. Are you also seeing this high reading in your outdoor temperature section as well?
