What's the difference causing my 2 units to not update? Purchase date? Shouldn't changing the zip code fake out the time? (Hint it doesn't?)

Correct, changing the zip code in the app without power cycling will have no affect on units that require a power cycle to reconnect with the NIST. Again, we sorry for this inconvenience.
