But testing is step one. And even without tracing, testing is effective if the infectee isolates separately from their household and the rest of the members of the household are quarantined. Probably not effective enough to thwart the epidemic, but to dampen it.
I know #COVID testing vital. But I’ve never known testing alone as a successful ph strategy. Testing must lead to action like tracing, quarantine or Rx. Thus if we ramp up testing we must equally gain capacity to trace & isolate. All this must be to scale.

The point I'm trying to make is that it's better to test than not to test, regardless of other capacities. The sooner cases are caught, the more likely they have only infected their household. That may change in the fall, however...

Jäljitys on tärkeää. Testaamisessa ilman jäljitystä olisi kuitenkin se hyöty, että kantaja osaisi silloin entistä enemmän varoa tartuttamasta muita, kun hänellä olisi positiivisesta tuloksesta mustaa valkoisella.

Juurikin näin, tosin näissä testeissä saattaa olla jopa 50% virheellisiä.
