If @Facebook handles this like they do anti-vaccine #misinformation , they’ll allow them to buy up most of the advertising, promote the misinformation, and ensure that #publichealth and #society deals with the consequences for decades to come...
I've been working w/ @Facebook to encourage accurate #COVID19 messaging, vital to avoid #infodemic. Here's company update to remove misinfo & harmful content, "Keeping Our People and Our Platforms Safe". Social media must do much more but it's a start
