Ever since #WuhanLockDown I've received pleas for help from people trapped in their homes. It's heartbreaking. They feel the world isn't paying attention to their plight, incl @WHO. Media rpts fewer cases outside Hubei, but we never hear about the people trapped in the province.
Hubei residents worry about their families, esp elderly: turned away from hosps, shortage of essential meds, high food prices Today, a doctor from Wuhan asked a deceptively simple question. He wants advice as to how he could encourage people to exercise, as they rarely leave home

What can we tell the Wuhan doctor? It seems lame, but wellbeing is vital: tai chi, yoga, meditation, walking, running in place. Ideas? Given risk of
#Covid_19 infection, group activities are out. Chinese culture is to walk, play music, & do tai chi in the park.Deze collectie tonen -
What can we do to reassure & comfort our friends in Hubei? When will there be hope for them that the mass cordon sanitaire will end? When can they return to their normal lives? Shouldn't
@WHO & China CDC be talking about these basic human needs?pic.twitter.com/5G7L6xK0RH
