How's this for astounding figure: >½ China's 1.4 bil pop are now restricted from leaving their homes in some way. Mass quarantines/cordon sanitaire at this level never before seen in history. With modern testing/rx/contact tracing, surely we don't need crude liberty deprivation

Any evidence modern testing (Dx kits) are reliable & are being properly used & results are being properly interpreted? Nobody likes civil liberties restricted, but where were outcries for lack of advanced preparation & training & objective measurement of training comprehension?
