Should a moral being embrace first their own kind, own tribe? Or does morality compel us to protect "the other". On Passover, a Jewish moral being should care deeply about the other, & that requires a deep caring for Palestinian people. Security matters. So does compassion.
And as we also experience Easter & its significance, we are reminded of just how callous & vicious some humans can be as we recoil in horror at the attacks in Sri Lanka.
