New #SCOTUS conservative majority having feared impact. Trump's ban on transgender in military goes into effect, & will remain so until 2020 at earliest. In light of today's ruling, probably 5 Justices will uphold this bigoted policy Isn't SCOTUS supposed to fight discrimination?
Also today, bad news for gun control. Justices will hear challenge to NYC gun law barring gun owners from transporting weapons outside city. This is first 2d Amend case taken up by Court since 2010. New conservative majority will gut gun control laws. Harmful to public health!
