@LGostin ? Here's a clue: $. Treating individs for disease is orders of magnitude more profitable than preventing illness they mass public health. Medicine has no spendingimit..people will mortgage a home to pay a surgeon. But PH is capped by voters.
Spot on @Laurie_Garrett so right. Follow the money. Wish it was "follow the pathways to gain a healthier, safer life with wellbeing" That is #publichealth and population health.
