The only way I can see this working is if the games are more adjacent than core stories. If the games contain stories that are vital to the overall DCU arc, that could become a real problem

I think that's sort of what Gunn was hinting at. He said in the press conference it wouldn't be a scenario where there'd be a Superman game after a Superman movie so it'd be less tie-in and more second story.

It's a bit much. For anyone to experience it it'll be $70 while a movie ticket costs 10 times less. Sure, you can watch let's plays on YouTube of them, but you won't get the full experience as actually playing it. It'll be neat if it's one game with continuous dlc.

I think it doesn't necessarily mean these games are all going to be AAA $70 releases. Given the dev time needed it can't be. I think there's room for smaller, $20-$30 games that could be done in that time.
