So they can just ride their wheelchair right into the car, like a train, bus, elevator?

that's not what a transfer board is.
but boring company already applied for a permit to use a fully ada compliant vehicle where you can just ride on with the wheelchair. it's up to the city to approve it. otherwise use a transfer board

Just the people I can see would need 4 Telsa's and 4 drivers!
Also, they would clearly be someone to assist the wheelchair user and help them on.

For transfer boards? Sure. That goes with any taxi service.
For the ADA compliant vehicle they filed for a permit? No. They just ride on.

BTW, some bus drivers help wheelchair people on their vehicle.

No shit. But they can get straight on and off using their chair. Surprised any public transport system is this unfriendly to those in chairs. But then I remember it is a marketing device rather than public transport

Which Boring Company has a vehicle for wheelchairs to simply ride on and they applied for a permit a couple of months ago. It's up to the city to approve it.

It's a tunnel for taxis. 🤣

Which solves a problem. Who knew such a simple system would deliver as contractually promised.
1
Ground breaking tech. Exactly what they promised. 🤣🤣
And delivered for cheap as opposed to wasting $2 billion of tax payers money.
