Actually, you are making stuff up---they are under their promised capacity for the system because the system doesn't meet the fire spec regulations for the promised rate.

Your article predated the capacity testing which they were successful in breaking 4,400/hr.
So no, it’s actually working fine.
Can’t wait for you to link me to the new article which I have many things to say about that.

Congratulations @boringcompany - @LVCVA Loop capacity testing exceeded 4400 passengers per hour on Tuesday, confirmed today after reviewing results. #OnlyVegas

Well actually that's even more terrifying because it means they are pushing the rate far in excess of the safety requirements (it lacks sprinklers, alarms, emergency exits, etc.).

Also there are emergency exits which are compliant to NFPA 130

Where? In the tunnels? I am not seeing any at all....
2
NFPA 130 standard says fire exits must be put every 2500 feet. The tunnels are less than 2500 feet so there’s no need for fire exits in the tunnel since pedestrians can walk to the nearest tunnel exit.

Should just leave the cars and let everyone walk

Same logic applies to airport people movers, right?

You mean places people have lots of luggage?

People don’t carry bags at a convention center?

Like full on luggage? 🤣 Yeah, almost 100,% of the people. 😉
Even worse at convention center actually since vendors need to setup their booth with all of the props for CES. More than just luggage 😉

And they have to get it all into and out of small cars an extra time? Nice. Wonder what they did before. 🤡
