Yep then divide cost by capacity and reliability. 👍

The tunnels will run on rubber tires and a road, rather than lines. That makes running costs much higher and less environmentally friendly. Think about road works, but in a small tunnel with a heavy vehicle passing over the same spot every few seconds.
Also all the rubber.

no. subways have more track maintenance. teslas have much lower maintenance cost than a train car.
boring company tunnels are more environmentally friendly than subways considering much less construction is needed.

Tesla are more reliable? 🤣

tesla cars in tunnels results in far less downtime. also doesn’t rely on the grid during service. it’s more reliable in various ways,

Cars in tunnels. Great. So if there is a fire?
If one breaks down, are there interconnected routes like in subway systems.
Instead of 1 vehicle breaking down carrying thousand, you now have hundreds of vehicles that can break down.
1
Subways have fires too.
Yep, Vegas Loop will have interconnected routes.
Hundreds of Teslas don’t break down at the same time. Comparison is invalid.

Only takes 1.

Same with a subway.

But far fewer vehicles. So fewer points of failure.
Again, it’s proportional. A subway has more parts than a Tesla.
