I've heard that many professionals are worried about the ease with which young people are starting medical transition, but they're afraid to speak out. Some receive death threats. Journalists also feel significant pressure to keep silent.

I once saw a professional pin his hopes on parents bringing about changes to his field. Which made me realize the importance of continuing to speak out. But also made me feel quite disheartened.

Prior to my daughter's ROGD, I assumed there were safeguards. That the medical field policed its own. But there seem to be no protections against professionals going rogue & treating patients with drastic medical interventions based more on ideology than scientific evidence.
