I doubt your claims of zero detransition rate. Many gender clinics don't even keep track. And those that do lose a high number to follow-up, making the stat meaningless. 2/3

Immediate gender affirmation is common in the US. So is reduced gatekeeping. This isn't "sound practice." On the contrary, it's inevitable that some young people will unnecessarily medically transition. If I wasn't cautious, my daughter would've been one of them. 3/3

SpecialK comments lack intellectual humility. False positives abound. Ironically, the lack of caring has potential to do real harm to the very cause they proport to support.

Medical science isn’t perfect. Your story is only relevant as far as misdiagnosis of any medical condition is relevant.

Your daughter's story IS both relevant & inconvenient. Because like my D's, it shows that no one is "trans." Just girls preyed on by drug & surgery peddlers. Girls who increasingly often have the wherewithal (and the parental support) to say "no thank you" to the Gender Fairy.

I hope your daughter is ok, and I wish both of you the best from now on.

Thanks, we are both well. My daughter desisted several years ago. She's a young adult now and has moved on with her life.
