    Hi - I'm a uni lecturer. I taught every. single. one. of my classes (plus some extra classes!) since March 2020. We called off strike action and I have not cancelled a single class, not even for illness, in over 20 months. So who or what caused the disruption?

    Some students at Warwick have submitted a motion to the Students' Union for the union to "condemn" UCU industrial action.

    To mandate that the SU Sabbatical Officers release a statement condemning industrial action should the UCU ballot succeed. To mandate the Education Officer and Postgraduate Officer to lobby the Warwick UCU not to take industrial action should the ballot succeed. To mandate the SU Sabbatical Officers and the Warwick delegation to the NUS National Conference to release a statement condemning the NUS’s recent statement regarding industrial action. To mandate the Warwick delegation to the NUS National Conference to draft policy to bring to the 2022 National Conference that opposes any future UCU industrial action.

    member : there needs to be an EU-internal discussion on the perception of threats. If member states do not perceive the same threats, there will never be unity in foreign policy towards the Eastern Partnership.
