That’s not to say that my black friends aren’t extra excited to finally see a tentpole film with a stellar, mostly black cast. But the fact that they don’t often get that speaks more to a problem in Hollywood than it does a problem with comic nerds.

Shannon has been chomping at the bit to see Black Panther since it was announced. It looks like an objectively good movie.

My anticipation could not be higher. I haven’t been this psyched for an MCU film since Winter Soldier. And I have been pretty hyped on a LOT of the others.
