I am so tired of trying to fight my way to give SOMEONE money for a PS5. Can't I just put my name on a list somewhere and they'll send me one when they are available in like 6 months? It's infuriating. I almost don't even want one anymore >.<

The best system is by far target, so if there’s ever rumors that it’s happening there be super alert. They don’t let you order online but instead pick a store to pick it up in, so instead of scalpers you’re competing with neighbors. Otherwise ps direct can be good if you’re lucky
I don't have the time or energy to jump through hoops. At first I understood a little cause oops pandemic but I feel like some kind of backup plan should've been started by now?
Best Buy has the same system. It might be good in some places but in the Los Angeles area it is not helpful. The closest I ever got was to get it in my cart but then it wasn't available in 20 miles of my location. :(

Yeah it’s definitely not fun. All you can really do is hope to get lucky I guess, I tried to get an Rtx 3080 every day for 3 months for a different friend and no luck there either. Eventually we got lucky enough to find a 3070 and went with that, but so much of it is just luck.
