I always just get mementos out of the way to I can go to lower floors and fighter tougher enemies if I need the extra XP
Ok question: last night we left off at the start of mementos because we had 5 requests (Including Becky's and the one to unlock Chihaya) but the next day, Kaneshiro will have his change of heart and the next area of mementos will open. I cycle saves to I can revert. Should I

I tend to wait until a day I don't have anything that desperately needs to be done then go and grind everything in Momentos that's currently available. Most of Mementos can be ignored until pretty late in the game without it massively impacting your playthrough, honestly...

Yeah we didn't have anything that had to be done, and getting Kawakami and Chihaya's quests done is a good idea, but when more area is going to open up in literally a few days, I feel like I should probably wait. I'm already super overleveled and have over a mill yen.

Will you have any new requests if you wait until after kaneshiro though? I usually just jump in and do a bunch of requests, if you wait you might get caught in plot for awhile, also getting all of kawakami's services quickly gives you more freedom.

I cycle saves so I'd just go back to the save i made right before going in. We probably won't get more requests but we'll unlock the next section of mementos, meaning more stamps for Jose, and higher level monsters to grind on.
