It was a real fun time! But it is rated R, released in February without a ton of marketing soooo...*shrug* Best thing ya can do is give it dat good word of mouth!

I dunno, man! I'm sure there were some factors involved that caused them to do what they did. Maybe they thought the brand was unproven, maybe a exec lost confidence in the project. Maybe they did testing and there just wasn't a ton of enthusiasm? It could be a lot of things

Not saying they were right, it's just the film industry is a nightmare and everyone is trying to maximize for their investors, so sometimes these things just kinda happen

I think that might just be LA. I've seen folks saying they hadn't seen anything about the movie till after it came out. I've also seen numbers ranging from $100-200 mil for what it would need to break even. That's not a HUGE marketing budget. But I could also just be wrong
