Not saying they were right, it's just the film industry is a nightmare and everyone is trying to maximize for their investors, so sometimes these things just kinda happen
they market the crap outta the ones people didn't like but not this one??
I feel like I've seen posters and billboards and trailers for it everywhere. @_@ but maybe that's just LA.

I think that might just be LA. I've seen folks saying they hadn't seen anything about the movie till after it came out. I've also seen numbers ranging from $100-200 mil for what it would need to break even. That's not a HUGE marketing budget. But I could also just be wrong
