      i think the impression a lot of people have is that all of a voice actor’s performances/voices need to be completely unrecognizable from each other when really what matters is if the performances are good

      I mean PERSONALLY I thought James Earl Jones's performance as Mufasa was really terrible because he sounded JUST like Darth Vader and it RUINED my immersion. #sarcasm (in case it wasn't obvious)
