I don't understand professionals who mock fans who get their start at open auditions. A good portion of our community is now made up of those fine folks who took that brave step forward in their lives. They're damn good actors. Better than some of you. Maybe be nice.
My only problem with open auditions is that people put TOO MUCH importance on them. The idea that it's a person's "one shot" and if they aren't selected that's the end. I made a total fool of myself on stage (fortunately before youtube) and it didn't stop me. Have fun and relax.

I 100% Agree, there's not one single way to get into the industry and everyone has their own path to get there and no one should go into the contests thinking its their only shot, but have fun and be proud they took a chance by participating.
