May be a stupid question, but in all seriousness, I would like to know/hear sensible theories; if covid is so contagious that ppl are standing strong on masks due to passing breath/vapor, then why test so deep w/giant swabs? Wouldn't a cough in a tissue be more than adequate?

Probably overexposure. The masks are said to reduce the number of particles we inhale, but it doesn’t completely block them. I suppose it works similar to xrays, where overexposure can eventually hurt you
