How does that work, exactly? Vote them out for other reasons, if you like. But they voted against this absurd Bill, and shouldn't be held accountable for it.

All Rs have to go. If Rs didn’t have a majority, this bill would never even exist. They are held responsible for for the actions of their party. That’s the way I see it.

I think that's kind of ridiculous. If someone didn't vote for the Bill, they aren't responsible for it. Vote them out for other reasons, but voting against them for something didn't do makes no sense. If anything, that they stood up to their party should work in their favor.

It would if these weren't people in extremely tenuously held seats that the house republicans were able to spare because their majority is large enough. You don't get credit for being given a pass just to elicit your reaction.

This. Call me cynical, but I’m not convinced these would be no votes if they actually needed them. Plenty of other reasons why all Rs need to go though.

These are not no votes for "conscience" but to try to protect vulnerable seats in moderate/liberal states.

They voted no bc they had the votes without them. To say they were outspoken against the bill, or harsh critics would be a lie.
