(Bloomberg) -- The man who served as Donald Trump’s personal driver for more than 25 years sued him for back pay on Monday, saying he was forced to work thousands of hours of overtime that wasn’t paid. The suit was filed Monday by Noel Cintron in state court in Manhattan.

Cintron says he was on duty for Trump starting at 7 a.m. daily until whenever Trump, his family or business associates no longer needed rides. Worked as long as 55 hrs a week, but paid a fixed salary of $62,700 in 2003, $68,000 in 2006, and $75,000 in 2010, say complaint.

The wage bump in 2010 came with a catch, Cintron said in the lawsuit, per @ChristieSmythe. He was induced to surrender his health insurance, saving Trump about $17,866 per year in premiums.https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-07-09/trump-s-personal-driver-for-25-years-sues-for-unpaid-overtime …

@realDonaldTrump is like skinflint @ScottPruittOK. They'll spend taxpayer money freely, but when it comes to their own money, they'd rather cheat and underpay employees than spend a penny more! #CorruptGOP #TrumpCrimeSyndicate #WhereAreTheChildren

Mr. Cintron was more than compensated for simply being a driver. The overtime is all in there & that is why is a salary. It’s not as if he was driving ALL those 55 hours during the week. Drivers do a lot of waiting around or get to go do something until they know they’ll be needed

WHY does anyone work for that man? Hasn't the word gotten around everywhere that he stiffs everyone who works for him?

Try living on that amount in New York City. Your apartment alone would be 4-5k a month.

Portland is not much different. That’s why I live in the suburbs. Still a decent (not falling down) 3 bedroom house is almost 400k.

The fact that Trump stopped giving him medical is more important than breaking down the amount...that just adds to the fact that the cheap underhanded POS doesn't like to pay! How many years did he go without coverage? Family plan? Trump expects people to be loyal...for free!

Donald Trump’s new slogan; Stealing Health Care since 2010!! (Probably longer). Remember all those people who thought Trump was acting during the election....and he was more liberal than he was letting on. Where are those people now?

Vile? For paying someone $75,000 to drive a car? Salaried employees are exempt from overtime. Simmer down, BallMajor, and get the facts straight.

Trump is such an asshole. Cares more about saving less than $20,000 a year, than his long-term employee’s health.
