Train from Leeds full of young people who've clearly had a great day out in various bars. Bit scary when you're alone and in a chair. Get to my stop, and one dashes out behind me in massive heels. "I'm checking they haven't forgotten the ramp for you." The kids are alright.

"RPIs and self harm incidents"- cold terms to describe what is happening to children in prison today. The physical & mental harm involved in both makes this an urgent safeguarding issue. And both are on the rise according to the latest stats

I had a lovely visit to the fabulous women’s centre in Gloucester. Wrapping around women with arts, childcare, debt and justice support. please support women’s centres instead of squandering money on new jails.

"while violation of the Genocide Convention could, &...should, invite serious criminal charges against perpetrators, that remains subject to political will–the ICJ has no jurisdiction over individuals, so it cannot bring those charges itself"
