My new article is out! It’s about how to change someone’s mind... like if they are not serious about mask-wearing or social distancing... 😳😩 Just saying... co-authored with my fabulous student Ryan Yu

I made a vow that every Thursday during the pandemic we’d have homemade pasta. So far: linguini, spaghetti, gnocchi, lasagna, ravioli, rigatoni, bucatini, fettuccini, fusilli, pappardelle, tagliatelle, tortellini, orecchiette, garganelli, malfatti. I thought it would end sooner.

Like snark? Our back-and-forth in American Psychologist with (self-described) scholar who has been "studying creativity for over 50 years." Thanks to Twitter for pointing me to the Meyer et al. 2001 paper on effect sizes, which gave ammo for a sharp rebuttal. See below.

This is 🔥advice. But before you are able to do this, you need to have a super clear view of what you mission is. It doesn’t have to be super defined, but it has to be super clear. Most struggle with that part.

We’re in the middle of a pandemic. Have some grace. There are much bigger issues that you can lend your voice to, I promise.

Honestly, sick of ppl trying to shame others. If you don’t want to post, or if you don’t have a hot photo, then just don’t. There’s nothing wrong w women who are always getting torn down posting confident photos of themselves. I posted. Proudly.

❤️ Reminds me of few months ago, got a note from a man who was in and out of rehab. He said after reading my book, was determined to stay clean. He sends me an email every week saying he’s clean another week ❤️ Shared his story in my newsletter last month

My relatives in Asia are utterly confused as to why wearing a mask is such an issue here. Why it’s even a thing. It’s like they’re watching a reality show and trying to understand what’s going on. There’s a direct correlation btwn spread of virus and mask wearing. So??... 🤷🏻‍♀️
