I’ve been saying it since Iron Man 2, but Marvel movies aren’t “movies” in a conventional sense. They’re big-budget serials. The MCU is the most expensive and ambitious TV show in history, just without the TV part, and that’s fine! But they don’t work as standalone films anymore.
