Putting aside who is right and wrong (I think both arguments have some merits), nether group seem to understand the basics of trying to convey and idea to another human being. At a fundamental level aggression will never change someones mind or make someone want to see your pov.

heh, I did get you to go from "Nobody changes" to "Some people will change" (also some of your posts did not appear in my notifications) and I was not realy considering mob mentality effects the discussion in those cases, where I was thinking more about 1 on 1 conversations.

And again I said it works SOMETIMES, in cases like that I'd bail after I see its just toxic and going nowhere, but sometimes it will lead to a interesting conversation, like our current one right now. You never know how it will turn out so just keep civil and hope for the best.
