big agree, nobody should be forced to watch ads, especially since they mostly give google money. The real problem is youtube, if only there was viable competitors, maybe it wouldn't be such an awful platform.

(2) I don't see much difference in spending time to earn money at a job to pay for content, or time watching ads to earn money. It costs time and resources to make content and 5 seconds of your time to see some dumb ad to help is the least you can do if you like the content.

There is no difference, but using ad block isn't illegal, and choosing to bypass the ad is a valid option. That's just one of the risks you run into with the ad model

I just see it as selfish, the video maker at a loss uploading as they put hours of effort into making entertainment for you and paid for equipment, and you can't put in 5 seconds to see an ad and give the bare minimum back. You don't even have too look at it, just let it play.

Selfish? Maybe. But they still have that right. It's the unfortunate consequence of the ad-based market

Despite us not getting paid for anything we do with Siiva, you think it would exist if ether fans paid for or Chaze had to pay for hosting of 5000+ videos that get 1000s of requests. Watching content comes at some cost, and ads are the most feesable, despite not being perfect.
