an open letter to those who keep saying good lgbt represenation is "minimal, not 'in the way'": can you like, not?? or at least, be more specific? putting it as vague and nondescriptive as that is not helpful at all. i understand your sentiment, you don't want preachy...

...in your face "KILL ALL THE CIS" soapbox representation, i don't want that either. but at the same time, shouldnt you make THAT clear? wouldnt it be easier to suggest that good lgbt representation isnt "preachy" or "forced?" because, wording it as vague as i see others say...

(forgive me for the soapbox) it makes it sound like you want to just put the lgbt's in the corner so you dont dare have "Da ESSJEWS RUINING MUH GAME!!!!", which, frankly, is very selfish. If a lgbt character is just a mere background element, then whats even the point?...

all of this being said, i want to stress to people also wanting to have lgbt representation: DONT FORCE IT. make a character who IS trans, not a character who's closest thing to resemble a character trait is "TRANS". put into consideration how being LGBT affects their character.
