tbh, I kinda have to agree for different reasons. It's kinda dumb to name an entire general after things who popularized it, it's like if we called platformers 'Pitfario' or heavy metal music 'Deep Sabbelin' But, everyone calls them 'Metroidvania' so we are stuck with it.
