      This is what developers did with CD-ROMs! They *could* fit videos onto a CD, so of course they did. Like the Dom DeLuise cooking CD-ROM has comedy skits on it

      I seriously love multimedia CD-ROMs like this! They were right at a moment when it seemed like this was the future of information: pictures, text, videos, etc. in a standalone digital package with its own presentation format

      One of the publishers leading this area, the Voyager Company, was trying to imagine what the future of the book looked like. And for a brief time, before the internet, when the CD-ROM was full of potential, it looked like Multimedia Cats 🐱💿
