I'd love there to be a Super Mario Bros Super Show project where the songs get reinserted back into the episodes but there's no way that would last long due to the copyright.
Wikipedia has a seemingly complete list of songs, maybe a project could just list the songs and remove the stock music and tell people where to put it, the list includes The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Billy Idol.

They were covers, though, as opposed to the original songs. All the more reason it’s weird they were removed unless they lost their mechanical license....lol
