At the expense of sounding like I’m talking down to you (I’m not being aggressive on this), I shouldn’t have to explain why if you survey students upon exiting High School, some of them (that tow the line) have great experiences and some of them (that get harassed) have bad ones.
I can't/ won't say more in public (maybe in dms), but there some more details that prob gives my experience more weight. But in general there is not any harrasment or hostility going on out in the open during my year there, and there is quite a few lbgt peeps.

If the situation has improved so drastically in the short amount of time I and my friends abstained, then I am genuinely happy for your pleasant and improved experience.

Unfortunately though, that doesn’t speak for a bunch of us who got mocked regularly, spies by on the quality control team to march in lockstep, and had to endure someone getting bullied to depression, but I’m glad at least youre seeing a positive in the experience.
