Don't glamorize Bali. Don't glamorize a place so poor that its citizens heavily rely on tourism, foreign investors & rich expats. Don't glamorize being "one with nature" on some spiritual healing bs in a country that murders Indigenous people because it wants their lands.

You’re arguing that a poor country shouldn’t have the opportunity to better it’s economic situation with tourism and foreign investment. In your eyes, they should stay where they are and let history repeat itself... sound argument.

Logically speaking. If the people of Bali rely heavily on tourism and you would like tourism to cease to exist. How will the people of Bali financially support themselves? What are the alternatives?
