Gonna be controversial here & say that I explicitly gave my fiance permission from the get-go (4 yrs ago) to show love to ALL of his friends, regardless of their gender ID. It's weird to me that gender is a big deal to some. I trust he knows the line between platonic & romantic.https://twitter.com/cnmauricette/status/1336627504946311169 …

Show love meaning I am totally 100% ok with him getting them little/big gifts (he's done both), hugging them, I was a tiny bit uncomfortable with one of them holding his arm when they walked (that bicep is MINE) but totally ok if its because she's wearing heels god knows I relate

We talked & continue to talk about boundaries as they evolve and set them as we go along. He hasn't been uncomfortable bringing it up with me after the first few times because I don't make him feel uncomfortable showing affection to/helping/appreciating his friends.

But if he wants to say "I love you" to a girl friend, why the hell not I say it to my men friends when I mean it, just like I say it to my fam/coworkers. Its not complicated, the world needs love to be shown when it's felt, stop hiding ur insecurity behind ur sexism & misogyny.

not even death himself will separate our spirits we are SOUL MATES people get disgusted by the affection, but it's true. We're in love even on regular no-makeup, ugly hair, Tuesday anime & soba nights. Don't talk to him abt me bc HE WON'T STOP
