I feel like longevity is lost in many sectors. I find that millennials are more quick to change jobs (or even careers) in order to provide for themselves, rather than wait it out for the opportunity to move up
It's what happens when companies don't pay enough to keep the ones who are experienced & skilled bc they'll just hire again. The federal minimum wage hasn't budged since '09. CEO salaries have grown 940% since 1978. Worker salaries have grown 12% since 1978 (U.S.).

Exactly. You see people jump from company to company because they don’t see any longevity there. If there’s no guarantee of increased wages or benefits, then you’re basically hired for the same job for the rest of your life.
